Cash back
Cash back without the portal
Cash back sites have existed for years. The catch is you have to remember to start there. With Shopping MCP, the assistant you're already talking to starts there for you.
1. Ask
“Activate cash back at Nike.” Or just say yes when your assistant offers.
2. Click
Your assistant returns a tracked link. You shop and pay at the store as usual.
3. Pending
The store reports the sale. Your wallet shows an estimated amount as pending.
4. Paid
After the return window the cash back confirms. Withdraw whenever you cross the threshold.
Wallet
Ask your assistant. It knows your balance.
Your wallet lives inside Shopping MCP and is shared across every assistant you connect. Ask Claude in the morning and ChatGPT in the afternoon and you get the same answer.
- Pending, confirmed and paid balances
- Per-purchase detail: store, rate, estimated confirmation date
- Payout to PayPal, bank account or gift card
- Full history export, and one-command deletion
> How much cash back do I have?
Pending: $41.20 (3 purchases)
Confirmed: $86.50
Paid out to date: $212.00
Your Best Buy purchase from Oct 12 should confirm around Dec 1. Want me to send the confirmed $86.50 to PayPal?
FAQ
Cash back questions
Why does a store pay cash back?+
Retailers pay affiliate commissions to partners who send them customers. Shopping MCP is one of those partners. Instead of keeping the whole commission, we share it with the shopper.
How long until cash back confirms?+
Most stores confirm within 30 to 90 days, after their return window closes. Your assistant can tell you the expected date for each purchase.
What can cause cash back to be declined?+
Returns, cancellations, using a coupon the store didn't authorize, or category exclusions (gift cards are a common one). Your assistant will warn you about exclusions before you buy.
Is there a minimum payout?+
Yes, a small threshold to keep payment costs sane. We will publish the exact amount at launch. Below it, your balance simply keeps accumulating.
